    Hi
I have this very beautiful Victorian trio.
It is a tea cup & coffe cup with 1 saucer it is white and gold the handles match up ,I have had this for about 12 years now . I think it mighte be adalaid shape but not sure, the gold is raised on it, and all 3 have a gold medallion in there centre's , all it has on them are gold numbers.. 3/124. I would love to know the pattern and some knowledge of it, I think but not sure it was made around the 1840.s.
I would be very grateful if anyone knows any knowledge of this very beautyful trio please let me know xx

I think you are right about it being Adelaide shape! I had a look through my Compendium Of British Cups, and it looks very similar to Coalport's and similar pottery's Adelaide shapes of 1831-1840. The number could be Coalport, except that their numbers were usually written in gold! These cups and saucers are really lovely.

      Hi
Thank you for letting me know, you are righte, the numbers are in gold, I don't know why I said they were in red.
      Thanx again
