This pair of 2"W turtle brooches were both so pretty I couldn't choose just one. The "boy" has light blue rhinestones & red eyes on silvertone, the "girl" has pink rhinestones on goldtone with textured feet. They are both signed Pell (founded in NY 1941) from the 1970s

They are lovely pieces!!! I, too, couldn’t have chosen just one. I do love my turtle figurals too.
They are such sweet little creatures- they kinda remind me of key rings or something? You see hosts of bejewelled creatures like that on key rings which are so sweet too! :P I also love their really cutsey colours!
These are so cute and nice to have a pink and blue :)

Thanks Glamorously for the super compliments, it's true, when you see two the same but in different colors, it's a big decision to choose just one! Actually Pell seemed to favor lt blue rhinestones on silver metal, so the pink turtle is more rare and now I'm really glad I went for that one too (different sellers, but knew they would look good posted together)

Lauren thank you for the terrific compliments, yes wouldn't these make pretty sparkly key rings, and those pastel colors remind me of baby blue and pink, so how about a decoration for a baby's room right
Thanks so much MrsT for the lovely comment, yes it was nice to find both colors, and I like the way their composition is slightly different - the pink one has reptilian goldtone feet, and the blue has red eyes, very cool designer touches

Great turtle brooches. Love the way you have “matched” them. So wearable alone or together. Eisenberg turtles were almost the very first jewellery pieces I ever collected.
