My Mother was an avid collector of all sorts of cool collectables. She feels it's time to simplify and clear out some of her collections. The first one I plan to help with is her Royal Daulton Bunnykins. I plan to record the names and dates of each, and find what documentation she has from her purchases, and then take them around to local antique stores to see if there is any interest. Such a variety of characters. Sorry the pictures aren't very clear...next time when I email from my phone I'll select the larger file size, so the resolution doesn't get dropped so low.
Fantastic Bunnykins collection, they are all gorgeous and in such creative poses! Look forward to seeing more of your bunnies they are adorable
Thanks for the feedback, Newfld. Glad you like them.
Hi Kerimikos, I wrote a reply to your first response, but somehow it didn't record, but I was thanking you for your insights, guidance and efforts to enlighten me regarding the pieces, including the well-researched links. I can see why you need a rest now. :oD I asked my mom if she had documentation from her purchases and she thought she did, but of course, the challenge is finding it. I'll post back if I hit the motherload. Thanks again Kerimikos for your time and consideration.
very very beautiful collection
Thank you KinkiPlz. I can't take any credit for it, as it was my mom's efforts and love of these figurines that created the collection. But I'll pass on your comment to her!
Wow, keramikos, some of those pieces are being offered for quite a price...I never knew.
Thanks so much! How do you find them so easily on that replacements site?
You’re a tireless collector investigator, keramikos!
I think that figurine behind the clarinet player if a bunny playing a standing bass.
To confirm, I’ll take a close-up picture when I visit her next week.
By the way, just read your comment about the numbering and photo editing...I think someone close to you is going to be mad at me for posting so many figurines, resulting in monopolizing of your time! If so, please apologize to them from me.
Thanks again, keramikos, for consolidating all into a single post. I'll go delete the previous ones to clean up. I appreciate your help.
Royal Doulton Bunnykins Collectables is a title and I used to sell books on antiques and collectible things but did not carry the book. Its done by Charlton Standard Guide and titled above. These books by charlton are done very well and gives prices also but you have to go by prices as today commands and that probably prices were a lot higher when she was collecting them. You should maybe use the guide and should be available in the library in your city. There usually are ads from specialty shops in the books which may be useful to you also. I love the Charlton price guide books as they are done very well.
Thanks PhilDMorris, for the guidance. Keramikos, I will be visiting my mom tonight and tomorrow, so I will have an opportunity to answer your questions and take clearer pictures. Thanks again. Frank
Hi keramikos, unfortunately my visit to my mothers last week was all consuming with pressing issues, which distract led me from the collection. However, I’m returning this weekend to hopefully better times and will have time to capture some better snapshots of the pieces in question. Thanks again.
Thanks for your consideration keramikos. Indeed, I’ll handle milkman carefully! I’ll make time for the proper photos this week. Thank you for the new link.
I'm on it!
Hi kerimikos, I'm driving down on Friday, and I will check the advertizing sign with the Jester to see what's going on (and check the bottom as well).
Thanks for your well wishes, keramikos. Things have not been well, nor do they continue to be well, thus my abesence. Also, I discovered that some of these messages are discoverable via internet search, which was a suprise to me, as I wrongly presumed they were limited to this site's members. I've decided not to share family issues going forward, but do appreciate your kindness and concern. I will try to answer your final questions when I'm able, but to date, have not been able to. Thanks for your understanding.
Thank you kermikos!
