Hello CW Members, Followers, Friends and Visitors.
This little Post office desk is part of my life for 40 years, was give away to me from my Father when i start being interested in Banking memorabilia, i mean serious about doing research on the subject, when the post office close in the 30s, my Father salvage the desk and many items, this little desk was at the first floor where the post office was located.
The Royal Bank Of Canada building(picture 4) still there today, at the exception that the building is annexed with the Museum of Civilization.
The desk was use for storage stamps, hammer, envelopes & post cards and others small stuff, in pristine condition with original Lock and Hinges, assemble, tenon-mortise, dovetail for the drawer, small cut square nail finishing the back and under part .

This little Gem is 12.5 inches wide by 7.25 inches deep, 12 inches high.
    Many thanks for Viewing.
    Alan

I have one of these on top of my roll top desk. I bought mine on Craiglist from a man that said it belonged to his grandfather. I like the secret drawer at the bottom.

Very nice desk! Still usable, you can fit the whole familys phones in it :) I would love that! "Here kids leave your phones in the desk for the evening, will be handed back to you when you check out in the morning".
Your desk is very beautiful, love the Aura of age.
