My nan passed away a month ago. My mum has given me a few token items to remember her by. I have received my Great Nans wedding ring, as the only family member with small enough fingers it's fits. It's an Uk size I.
My great grandparents were born 1890 & 1893, assuming the ring is around 1910 purchased. It's good coloured, strong, sits nicely with my 18ct wedding ring and engagement ring, not quite as orange, a lighter gold. I have researched the hallmarks but still have no clue. Missing a couple stones or glass. Would love to know it's hardwearing to wear on a daily basis. Seems a shame to have it sat in the box. Any advice/guidance is pleasantly accepted ???? thanks you for reading if you got this far
