An online purchase just because it’s pretty but now I’m wondering what maker is CX.
Measures 2” X 2.5”.
Paved with small red rhinestones and with larger AB blue rhinestones in wings.
Body is covered with clear and yellow rhinestones. It’s very sparkly!
I have come up with no info when I’ve looked for what CX stands for so I’m hoping someone here who is familiar with costume jewelry knows the answer.
Many thanks for your attention!

Thank you so much MALKEY for the love and confirmation of this butterfly’s beauty!
It's really pretty and OMG I'm stuck. I mean I think I know who that is bit kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk… hahaha I fell asleep!!! I started to say, I've got the CRS going on right now and I dropped out. Does anybody have a bumper for their desktop??? I think I need one ;) It's possible made by the clothes designer...what's his darn name? Valentino!!! Let me go look in the mirror, I swear it's on the tip of my tongue!
Pretty butterfly!
pretty ...
Oh my goodness, 13 loves for my big butterfly brooch! Thank you all for the lives and comments!
I am one of those ladies who like to wear a brooch as a pendant....so I’m making a beaded necklace to attach to the butterfly clasp (without altering the brooch). Also working on some matching earrings.
I’ll post my final results if anyone is interested in seeing them. :-)
Thank you, each and every one for the loves and comments!! I’m honored!
Thank you, Ms.CrystalShip, for the love and the effort you put into research for CX.
Maybe I should get a gold test kit....the brooch is unusually heavy....but no one would use rhinestones set in gold....I couldn’t be that lucky!!
After I made the earrings, I decided these look too heavy/solid to go with the airy butterfly so I’ll be making some with a light open look instead.
would love to see some Butterfly's about now ...'-( but they don't like snow for some reason .. '-)) Nice find,..
My daffodils, Snow Drops, hyacinths, creeping phlox are all blooming a bit early this year....but I haven’t seen a single insect pollinator visiting the blossoms.
I’ll be thankful to see some butterflies also.
Thanks for the love and comment, Alleycat1.
If you get the gold test kit, just be very careful not to breath the fumes. It's easy to forget that when looking to see if the lines disappear! And be very careful too that the 18k especially, does not touch your skin, it will burn like crazy! The 18k is how you can test silver and platinum too. the Platinum line turns electric blue!
Gorgeous flutterby !
shareurpassion, thank you for the great info on the test kits....I’ll keep that in mind! Thank you for the love!
Manikin, thank you for admiring my sparkly flutterby and for the love!
