This is I believe an Art Deco brooch/clip belonged to my grandmother. I inherited it several years ago. I know it is very old, however, not sure how old ?and also I dont know the maker ? nor the materials it is made of ? It is not signed. The back is in good condition.
It is a brooch that can be used as two clips on a sweater, blouse or coat .
It is missing one corner stone :( the stones appear to be clear with little to no discoloration.
I dont remember my grandmother wearing this brooch, Im sure at some point she did. She loved clothing fashion and jewelry.
Let me know if you any information regarding this brooch ?
Let me know if you like it or not ?
I think the most common name for this type of brooch/clip is called a "duette". Without it being signed it is tough to say a maker but a lot of times these are made by Coro.
Carlsons_C.R.A.P thank you for this information, do you know what the possible value is ?
A piece such as that usually sells for $30-50.
