This is a beautiful 12" cobalt blue glass vase signed with Nancy Daum Cross of Lorraine mark. Would love help as to rarity and age. I can find no matches or ones with the cut to design on vase. Opinions welcome!!!
It is possible to add a photo with marking. It reminds me of the production of Bohemian glassworks Wilhelm Kralik. see: http://www.bohemianglass.org/katalog/vaza-cameo-1116/detail/
I know this vase as Kralik's too.
I don't know why the signature photo didn't post the first time but here is signature.
I am not expert in French glass, but I'm afraid that this marking may be false.
Oh my, I was wondering if it was. How can you tell please?
I am wondering about the a in Daum.
I think the vase was made by Kralik. A Daum glassworks production expert should comment on this. Maybe it was production of Kralik made to order of Daum Nancy glassworks? But this is only speculation. Kralik allegedly produced semi-finished products for the Gallé glassworks (but in my opinion there are only some references in the literature from the 1920s).
Well thank you so much for help.
