This is one of those triangular shapes with multiple personalities; if you turn it one way, it has a slender, tapered look, rotate 60 degrees, and it looks more oblong and rounded, and if you turn it in any other position, it looks like an amorphous blob. I don't know if this was genius or madness, but indents and rim folds create a terrific palate for the oil spot decoration with irregular wavy bands of silver and blue glass threads. The Thea (pale yellow opal) ground is highly UV reactive, which makes for some cool black light photos. This decor also comes in a variety with red threads instead of blue. This vase stands a shade under 7" tall.
