Here is a 5"H authentically colored black and white glass penguin, a Paul Miller design from his animal series for England's Langham Glass from the 1980s, with orig labels on lower back

Awwh he's so cute- I have a feeling he's not an Emperor Penguin but he's one of those small Rockhopper Penguins, y'know the southern penguins that hang out in warm coastal waters?! He looks so cute and inquisitive!

Ken I am so happy you found this guy adorable, and humbly grateful for the lovely compliments on my post quad this week, I try to make them an interesting blend but sometimes it's hard, for example I've really had to search for more US-made glass animals yet am finding these wonderful international brands like this Langham piece
Thanks Lauren for the always super comment, I had to google the rockhopper penguin and yes I can see the similarity, it is wild that there are so many penguin varieties yet they're all basically black and white. Yes he has very alert inquisitive eyes, I really like when you can see the eyes on a glass animal & it's not just an outline

Beautiful icy penguin Jenni. Some time ago I told someone that I collected penguins. So many penguins, in so many different forms, came my way. Eventually I had to announce 'No More Penguins'! I had enough for a colony.

Omg, I think ours are quite the same, but I do think yours is so much cuter. Mine has no sticker on it but I just wonder... In fact, mine looks more purple but the little noses are the same and so are the tails. I'd be happy to know if they were both from the same maker!!! I'll have to dig him out and see. I'd promise to post but who knows how long that might take me!!!
