    This item was in a trunk among other items. I am trying to figure out what it is? The material feels like some type of metal. It was in this condition packed away. Any help in identifying it would be appreciated.

      Looks like it was a Japanese or Chinese plaque at one time but broke and was kept because is was so beautifully done ? It appears quite old. Interesting
