    often difficult to know who the designers are for these fabulous pieces of glass?

    you also never know if it is the original electrical fitting or not?

      It has a very art deco shape to it, and the spatter on the glass fits that vibe.
      The mount doesn't look 30s, but that's neither here nor there I guess, the glass may be made deliberately retro.
      Looks great.

      thanks, the glass is quite likely from the 1930's

      the lamp base could have come from anywhere

      a working lamp will usually sell for more than the glass alone, so.......... ;-)
