Masserini, an Italian manufacturer, produced these. The pattern is Textured Bubble Lace. They are very intricate pressed glass and I take my hat off to the makers of the moulds.

So beautiful!!
My husband bought a footed bowl like this for me in 1985. I enjoyed it for many years and now one of my daughters has it. I am getting old!
You know Peggy I have seen these made in Japan by Ishizuka Glass, well I think they are the same.
Maybe just close.
I think one of the American glass companies did something similar too. Must have been a well loved style. I must admit the beaded edge is gorgeous.
Hello Karen, I bought these in a charity shop as I'm fascinated by how they could have been moulded. Then I came across what I thought was the same pattern as these in a Fb group which was IDed as Ishizuka, Aderia Bubble Lace. Then I posted these in a FB group called Charity Shop Art Glass. Someone there said actually they are Italian as above. I think he is right.
If you look at image two which shows the rim in detail you'll see a repeated motif of one large pearl surrounded by five small pearls. The motifs abut each other.
On the rim of the Ishizuka version each motif is the same but there is one small pearl between each motif.
Furthermore there are American versions of what they call, 'Pearl Glass'.
Rather disappointing that I still only own one piece of Japanese glass after all.
Freiheit, we are all getting older, but it's nice that things get handed on and perhaps to another generation yet!
Watchersearcher, I think it's very attractive and a credit to the designer and the mould maker. Pressed glass is largely ignored..........
Thanks for IDing the detail for me Peggy.
Assuming I actually have this time! Anyway nice to hear from you :)
