Attended Green River Depression Glass Show this weekend and found this gem to add to my Amberina collection. Only problem is, I have no idea who made it. It is made of heavy glass. No markings.

Mebbe a dumb question on my part, but what do you (or anybody else) think this lovely chunk of glass was actually *intended for*??
I am pretty sure it is an ashtray. I found a lot of Fenton Bird Ashtrays, but none with wings like this one.
it's Viking Art Glass and the color is called persimmon. Without a catalog it's hard to say the intended use; one listing says pipe holder and another says candy. To me it looks like it could be a pipe holder / ashtray...
