Y'all absolutely DO NOT WANNA KNOW the condition of the cardboard box/newspaper wrapping these were first stored, then found in. TRUST ME... ;-) :-) :-)
But, being otherwise made of (probably commercial-ish but probably not 'tempered') glass, they are once again probably not unsafe to use, ifn's (in the unlikely event) I ever have a New Year's Eve party (or whatever) for myself and 13 other guests who want champagne. <giggle> In the meantime now that they've all duly been thru the dishwasher and are now clean again, I'll probably still end up just repacking them in a new box somewhere (the old one went *directly* to the trash after being unpacked outside, do not pass GO, do not collect $200) since a set of 14 champagne glasses is about the very *least* thing I currently have room for in my cabinets....??? <LOLOL>
that Safedge Rim is most often an indicator for Libbey. This is their Georgian pattern which was made for more than fifty years.
