The Dutch produced lots and lots of these tiles for decoration of their walls and when foreign ships had delivered their cargo in Dutch harbors, they often returned with amounts of them. This framed one comes from a Danish antiques shop. The dealer believed it to be from ca. 1800. In Dingeman Korf: "Tiles" it's named 'landscapetile, type 330, 18th century'. 13.5 cm x 13.5 cm.
