I want to share with you my latest addition to my small but growing Rafael Canada collection. This necklace is in excellent vintage condition. It would benefit from a gentle polishing but, quite frankly, I like the patina. The pendant is about 8 inches. It makes a statement.

Very nice and always reminds me of Bugatti art deco chair designs by him (his chair backs.) Nice to see more Canadian content !~
I can see why the necklace reminds you of the chair, PhilDMorris. That chair is quite something, isn't!
Where I live (my "hunting grounds" are in Brampton) it is hard to find Canadian made pieces. I don't know why that is.
Ms.CrystalShip, thanks so much for your comment. I have worn it on a beige sweater with a brown sheepskin coat and it certainly made heads turn. I am just not totally sure that it was the necklace - LOL

I am so sorry that you had to cancel your trip. My friends were supposed to fly to Italy at the beginning of May and go on a cruise for 10 days, then stay in Spain to visit a good friend of us and then stay in Germany. The whole trip was supposed to be six weeks and took an lot of planning. Good thing they cancelled the cruise on the last day they could get a full refund. Now they may have to scrap the whole trip.
We are leaving for Martinique in less than two weeks to visit my daughter. We booked - and paid for - a villa with swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Non-refundable! I am keeping my fingers crossed.
In May, also booked and paid for car rental, insurance, flight, hotels..., to visit my mom and her sick husband. Some of these expenses are refundable, but my mom waits the whole year to see me. I am her only child.
On a positive note, if you make it to Canada when the winter is over, there are many nice places to see. It's a big Country but you never know if you end up in my neck of the woods:)
