      Robert Cox probably never existed. The biography which is circulated for him is apparently fictional. I tried to verify the information in it and none of it checked out. I suspect that some 1980s painting mill, probably in Mexico, was cranking these out. Your painting may be one of these, but it is a bit loose to be one of these Robert Cox paintings.
