This “Green Group” is a nod at Irish ancestry ... for St. Patrick’s Day.
1. These are Coro pieces.
2. This is an Eisenberg Turtle brooch set. It has not been off its display card, and so I did not remove it.
3. Still searching for maker name for this great set.
4. Close up of the Coro drop earrings.
Happy St. PD.
Gorgeous green jewelry Daisy I adore your Eisenberg turtle, and the Coro pieces are really lovely. Enjoy St Patrick's!
I used to forget to wear green back in the day. The best things that I have that are Irish besides some furniture, are the fantastic books on Irish Furniture. Reminds me that I got a charm bracelet with a 4lclover charm. A beautiful set you have here.
Thanks for your comment, Jenni. Glad you like these. I was going to write — “this turtle is for Newfld,” as promised. Smiles.
Hello Phil — I still forget to wear green. Love to see your charm bracelet and/or furniture. My mother’s family is from County Down, County Clare and County Armagh. Thank you ... thank you from Calgary, where we are covered in snow. <3
Thank you for your comments, Eileen. I replied to you earlier (I thought here); but obviously forgot to push “Save” as it isn’t showing. Perhaps I’ll discover it as answer on another thread. Smiles. That’s my ancestry, exactly, as well. That bezel set set is quite something. Actively searching for the maker.
Thank you, all, for your so kind Loves. I appreciate all and each one. :-)
I hope you have the book Irish Furniture by the Knight of Glin along with a sothebys person also. My fave book of 2007 and have followed a lot of auctions for Irish Furniture before most people knew it was Irish, as the furniture used to be thought to be English for so many years. The book is a great buy for someone wanting to know a fair bit of the interesting Irish history. Very beautiful set !~
Phil — Thank you ... and thank you for the information about the book Irish Furniture. No, I have not seen it, hadn’t even heard of it. I have ordered a copy now. It looks fantastic.
Glad to hear you ordered. Its a fantastic book, I don't think you will be disappointed.
