Hello CW Members, Followers, Friends and Visitors.
Found this nice Sculpture by Timothy P Schmalz a Canadian Artist Sculptor, in good condition with original booklet and box, heavy resin cover with a coat of bronze.
Inspired by the Gospel of Matthew 25:40, this sculpture is a visual representation of Charity. It tells us that we need to see Christ in the poor and the hungry and that we should see our acts of kindness to them as kindness to Him. This solid resin-stone cast is coated in a realistic bronze finish and is mounted on a solid matt black base. Timothy personally sculpts every original small masterpiece complete with his signature or monogram. Each replica is detailed by hand to the exacting standards of this modern day master sculptor.
7.50 inches high, 6 inches wide by 6 inches deep.
At first glance, I thought I was seeing a single coin in the hand of a beggar...then I realized that it is a hole puncturing the hand of the crucified Jesus. What a beautiful sculpture reminding us of His sacrifice for us and to be charitable to one another.
At 1st glance, I thought it was a CA panhandler. LOL !!
