This vintage cuff bracelet is the latest addition to my Mexican jewellery collection. It is stamped 925 silver and was made in Guadalajara, Mexico. The maker's mark is JFG. So far I have not found out what the letters stand for but I found some similar pieces with the same mark.
I believe the eagle mark was introduced in 1948. The absence of the eagle mark, as well as the later system of letters and numbers, makes me think that this cuff bracelet could have been made some time around the 1950's or possibly a bit before.
Thanks for looking:)
Wow! This sure is pretty! I have earrings to match it, I'll have to check to see if they have the eagle or not, I can't remember. Plus, I added some black pearls to the earrings though. I'll see if I can dig them up. I've only worn them a couple times. They deserve to see the light of day.
Gorgeous cuff

Melaniej, thanks for your link. I found one bracelet with turquoise as well on line. I liked that one much better, but when you go treasure hunting you can't be picky - LOL
Bille Hougart's book is on my wish list. As my little collection grows,it becomes almost a necessity.
I did pull them out to take pics, didn't get to it and now they are in a big dish full of other pieces. It's a mixed mosh! Lol ;) I'll get to them.
