It is over 5 years since I have been collecting glass, it took about a year for me to focus on the Tango style of the interwar period. I felt Ruckl was not represented enough in spite of much documentation.
Certainly a vast challenge as the producers and exporters were all competing for the same markets, namely the huge USA in volume.
Ruckl also happened to please my taste the most, simpler, not to weird and not to frilly, yet not shy either in their size, weight, and brilliant colors.
This group are all decorated with 3 colors, with a primary red or orange, then accents, adding yellow. None are marked, only one has a white interior lining , the rest are clear glass. The same thing happened with my ;arge series of vases, I have 2 with a white lining, out of seven. I don't know why that is, it is certainly the same mold and the same period, plus this maker did not close its doors at any point after 1938.
Beautiful collection & love the intense red-orange colors! Happy St Patrick's Day Lisa
