Colbalt Blue Glass Measuring Cup the bottom reads "Measuring and Mixing Cup"
measuring lines range on one side reads: 1 PT - 2 cup - 16 OZ; 3/4 PT - 1-1/2 cup - 12 OZ; 1/2 PT - 1 cup - 8 OZ; 1/4 PT - 1/2 cup - 4 OZ
measuring lines range on the other side reads: 2 - CUPS; 1-2/3 - CUPS; 1-1/3 - CUPS; 1 - CUPS; 2/3 - CUPS; 1/3 - CUPS
The cup stands 4" tall x 6" from spout to handle, with a footed base 3-3/8"
I looked at the website that keramikos suggested in the comments below, and I agree that the cup has "Mixing and Measuring" embossed on the bottom. According to the website, this item is from Hazel Atlas Cobalt #3042-2954 Measuring Pitcher with Perforated Reamer -Color: Cobalt - listed from a 1929 Hazel Atlas catalog ad. Unfortunately, I do not have the top reamer. which is hard to find. Thank you again keramikos .
I've always loved cobalt blue glass -- and what a pretty example that is!! Do you have any guess how old it might be? [not that I'd kick it offa my kitchen shelf even if it came right offa the boat from WallyWorld last Thursday...?? <giggle>]
