This is a complete Hubley #498 Fish Hatchery set. I shared one of these before but it was missing the tank lid, box and envelope. I combined the net and fish I had with the lesser grade truck with this near mint truck that had the hard to find tank lid. I was elated to get the lid and major truck upgrade. The tank lid just sits on top very loosely and is usually found(but not always) only in boxed examples. The lid gets a 40% reduction premium in Hubley Toy Vehicles guide, in optimum condition that's $74. I also got a nice box with all the flaps and the htf envelope. It was cataloged from '58-'60 with the '57 Ford cab. I'm happy to upgrade as a Hubley collector, this is one of my favorites. It's a challenge to complete(especially at a decent price) and I like the unusual/original theme.
Love that ruck. You know I know what it is like to complete a set. A coworker got mad at me because I paid $50 for an empty box.

Thank you Iggy. It could hold water, I guess. They came with small translucent rods to support the fish and make it look like they were swimming. I'm sure many kids put water in them.
