This has been another boring day at home. My children have called me and I have called my mom twice, like I do now every day. I am getting more and more worried about her. She survived Polio and Dysentery and the horrors of the WWII (born in 1936 in Poland), and I hope she will make it through this crisis, too. It is impossible for her to isolate herself because she is taking care of her husband. He has dementia and other health problems and needs to get his medication administered three times a day by visiting nurses. To help her, there are also cleaning people coming occasionally. The agency in charge send a cleaning lady TODAY, March 19, to wash the windows. WHO cares to wash windows in the middle of the Corona Pandemic?! Where is the common sense?!
Sorry for venting my frustration.
Here is a nice vintage bracelet from Peru. It's not exactly what I collect but I got it at a good price.
Thanks for looking:)
Lovely inlay on this sterling bracelet. These are very tough times right now Gudrun, I wish you & your dear mother all the best and hope it gets better for all of us very soon
