I recently purchased a group of 12 brooches and this was in the lot. This as well as a couple of the other pieces caught my eye. When I received the lot, I was happy to find out that this was a Phrygian Cap Boucher piece. But, from the pic that was posted online and the piece that I received was different. Sometime after seller posted pic, someone had reglued some of the red stones back and put one in the wrong space and left a ton of glue everywhere between the red stones. I had to work on this piece by removing most of the red stones and clearing that residue off the piece. It took a while, but it looks better than when I received. I thought about contacting seller, but I paid so little for the lot and wanted to keep it irregardless and not send back. Anyway, hope you enjoy
That's a lovely old brooch. It looks great now.
