I purchased this sign in a yard sale. It's 44" square; rusted on the back with no holes. Is it best to leave this 1980s tin sign "as is" or have it restored? (I know a guy). I'm thinking of giving it to our son when he finishes his basement. Anyone have an idea of its value in its current condition?
Sorry. Its a sign from the 70's with very little value in good condition. And worthless in this condition.
Hope you did'nt pay too much hoosierdaddy, but this is a perfect project piece to get your hands dirty & restore yourself. There are several great video's on you-tube on lettering and restoring, and a new show on History called American restoration, watch a few episodes & go to town, nothing to lose right!!A great first project!
