This bronze serving tray is a flea market find. I've been able to decipher the marks. It turns out that it's a German Serviertablett, made by Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, 1910-ca. 1920. Decorated along the edge with stylized leaves and the 'endless knot'. The latter was invented by the Romans and copied in Europe ever since. 37.5 cm x 29.5 cm x 1.5 cm. According to the local goldsmith - who restored it discretely - is it typical Art Deco. I'm not quite sure how pretty it is, but it's practical and used daily for coffee or tea.
