This 1 3-4" swan brooch has round rhinestones of white & aqua blue on goldtone, by Napier (a costume jewelry classic co founded early 20th century) from the 1980s. Paired with a 3 1-2"H blue glass swan from Kanawha ca 1970s with orig label

These are both beautiful- both are so elegant and sleek in their designs as you would expect a swan to be! :P I also love both shades of blue- the lovely light summery blue of the brooch and the azure sky blue of the glass swam

Hi Jenni! Hope you are well! I suppose so since I see you are on tonite! I love swans, but only certain ones, and yours get a 10 from me.
Say, did you see the story when you opened CW tonite about Anna LaChapelle? I have seen it before and actually believe at one time I had a sterling silver mesh purse that may certainly have belonged to her. There was a date of I think it was June (something) 1901 and the name LaChapelle on it. It was so awesome, different than any I had seen, and had I known when I sold it whos it probably was, I could have gotten a whole lot more than i did. I actually made a mistake when selling it on Ebay, around 2006, by taking the offer of 440.00 for it. I didn't intend to accept it as it was a first offer but I hit the wrong thing. It went to a lady in Japan! Pretty cool story though, right?!?

No did not read about Anna LaChapelle but sounds like you got a very good price at over $400, one day I'd like to try selling some stuff online but obviously not now with all the health crisis problems that is affecting the PO (slow or incomplete delivery, sellers not shipping afraid of any personal contact etc).
