Hey there for what i can physically see the artists name is anderson the painting to me is gorgeous very good detailing the whole theme of the cabin in the woods i love the mountain and Creek amazing my concern is i dont know the full name of the artist it looks antique i can tell by looking at the backside and the frame is original with it if anyone with more knowledge of this kind of art please let me know more info of this piece i would be grateful feel free to openly tell me what you think thank you.
Don't be too sure that Anderson exists. Looks like made in a 'decorative painting factory' somewhere. Possibly in The Far East.
Thank you golgatha for your info ive been trying to figure this painting out im about to pay to get it appraised to just get out of the doubt of it being worth anything or not they would have to tell me i guess.
The signature looks very much like Jorge Anderson, who was a relative of mine. He has a few pieces that come up here and there. He mainly painted with oils, and did a bunch of landscapes.
