"PORCELIER" made lots of nifty similarly styled fixtures back in their day, I have one or two myself but like this one even more 'cause of its FUN shape!! :-) :-) :-)
NOW a "CHALLENGE" question for y'all...who knows what the two little clear glass/metal things in pic#3 (along with assorted other antique electrical bits) really are and what they do??
I do, and I'd bet I'm not alone...who else is gonna answer first...?? ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Thanks FortApache
What a beautiful old light...I’ve never seen one like that. I cannot make “an educated guess” as to the purpose of the glass and metal items....so I’ll toss out just “a wild guess”.....are they light emitters?? Do they receive electricity thru he metal part and glow??
AnythingObsure I know what the things in picture three are
Because I also collect a bit of neon
The metal base screws into the sign
And the glass portion acts as an insulator
And with wire holds the neon tube in place
So “Eat At Joes “ stays lit in place for years
AnythingObsure did you see Comment 5
UHUH, my friend, I most certainly did... ;-) ;-) :-) :-) :-)

...and here's my own little PORCELIER fixture...I still like yours better, but beggars can't be choosers now, can we...?? :-) :-) :-)
