The jars are 10" high x 4" wide, 8" high x 3" wide. Each has a number "1" on the bottom. I have had these for about 20 years, from a thrift shop, I think. They are fairly heavy, thick glass and well finished. They are embossed with what some describe as a "Greek Key" motif. One still had a hardened flesh colored substance in the bottom which I thought it was face powder until I washed it and then, after it foamed up, I realized it was soap. These may actually have been bath jars. No idea who the maker was or what the production date was. Not an uncommon set of jars. Something I would have expected Avon to sell, but are not marked. I welcome any information about these jars.
