I am not a glass person, but we have some great ones on here that are...but here is a start...I saw a G...??? if this will help....can you read the writing...better on your side then mine.
I will push this to the experts....I just love it...I purchase cause I like it, and save it then put in storage then share it.

It is a very pretty piece and possibly American Brilliant Period (ABP) glass. I know nothing about ABP glass except that there are far more unknowns than there are those pieces that have been identified with a maker and name. A good site for ABP is "Brilliant Cut Glass - Pattern Search". There is lots of serious ABP eye-candy there.

Hello............This not American Brilliant Cut Glass. It is a modern piece from Europe. Thousands of pieces of glass like this have been imported to the US. during the past 20 years or so.

For the fun of it, here is a link to New Cut Glass made in Colorado.

I'm not a professional at all, but it looks like someone engraved a name on this....maybe as a gift to someone. It doesn't look professionally engraved at all. Hopefully they didn't damage a beautiful piece of glass.

My mistake............Glass was not cut in America........ The signature is that of the maker, They use a diamond point tool to put on the name.

      You are welcome!

      May be something from Yasemin....

Is there any other mark than the signature?
I'm from Sweden and to me it looks like the second letter after G could be ä or ö that we have in our alphabet. I can't read what it sais though but I wonder if it could be from here somewhere. We have a long history with glassworks.
Vetraio here on CW might know as he knows glass. We will see :)
