    pottery, I have this old piece of pottery with lid, it looks very old. I can't find the mark in my books or on the net although there are so many marks to look through,can anyone help?

      Sorry I missed this when it was posted. All guessing, but the mark might be a stylized bull - rotated 90° cc? I get an Italian vibe off of it. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

      Thank you for your input art.pottery, it is interesting on our different perceptions of this mark. I get an image of a Shark when rotated 90 degrees, again thank you for helping.
