Further to my (maybe) 4-leaf clover post the other day, which at the moment I'm too tired to reinclude a link to, here's another whole different and bigger patch of otherwise totally typical "clover", (with a few little premature blooms even?) this one actually in the front yard of the cleanout house so many of my other most recent posts have somehow originated from.

We only spent a few minutes thru there today (mostly to give BEAR puppy the most recent bagful of pizza bones/etc) after which came the now requisite (??) thorough handwashing and all that... <groan>...

Whatever. I didn't have time to spot an actual "4-leaf" one to picture by itself, but I gotta believe there's probably at least one or two buried in there somewhere. There are at least two different 'clover' varieties there anyway I think too. The point remains the same -- GOOD LUCK to each and every other one of y'all while we all still go thru newly strange and daily (if not hourly) everchanging times together....

The one with the flowers is a type of Oxalis. It can be considered an invasive weed but some species are quite decorative & sought - after for rock gardens/pot cultivation. Most Oxalis comes from South Africa & South America. I have a variety called "Iron Cross" which has large "shamrock" shaped 4 - lobed foliage with a purplish - brown centre. Has pretty bright pink flowers in Summer. It's in a pot so it doesn't escape & take over! :-)
