Hi everyone. This is a low footed compote made by Duncan, George & Sons c.1885. It is called Ellrose or "Paneled Daisy & Button". This is the 8 in w/ lid. Was also made in various colors including a line named "Amberette Ware" due to the amber color of the thinner, clear panels. I wonder if Amberette is more common than the crystal line? I seem to see more of the Amberette than the basic crystal Ellrose. Any thoughts? Either way, It's a great find and in mint condition. Enjoy :)
