I bought this for 100.00 in 1985 from a lady going into a nursing home in Arizona. She loved the piece. I dont know anything else about it. I think its pretty and I've kept it in a guest room for many years.

Lots of information online. Search for "H.B. Graves furnishing company rochester".

Information shows they moved to 78 State St. in JUL 1899. Lots of ads and directories from the first quarter of the 20th century can be found online. Not sure when they closed-- additional research will probably get a closing date for the Co.

Based on construction, style of your piece and company history; I would think that your dresser is from the first quarter, 20th century.
