This is the first vintage and labeled “Hermes” bag I’ve found in local op shops. This is the one that is very well made and in beautiful condition. I have found 2-3
Others all with similar branding, some with stickers. All I can find is that these bags were possibly 1900-1950s made in the Australian Hermès branch at the time, possibly before they gained the luxury price tag? This is a guess, if anyone knows feel free to share! The Hermes company will not comment on the legitimacy of these bags so I have to discover the truth on my own!

There are companies that will authenticate the handbag for you. Looks like a beautiful bag. Good luck

Hi! I have also found a vintage hermes purse (has the smell to go with it) mine in the lining has label hermes " product that speaks for itself"
Where you able to find anymore info? Yours is the only one on the Internet I've seen that also says this.
