Hello again. This nice little shallow compote/toy cake plate? was made by either John Higbee or maybe Bryce? It stands 3 1/4 in tall by 6 in wide. I recall reading somewhere that it was a child's toy. Can anyone (Tallcakes lol) assist with the pattern and it's purpose? Thanks again everyone. :)

with that shallow rolled up edge it could pass for either a shallow comport or cake stand; today often called a tazza. EAPG cake stands were made in a wide range of sizes; https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/212469-size-matters-when-considering-a-cake-st

Fenton made some similarly small stands and marketed them a pillar candle stands.
