Great-Grandfather's 14k Gold Pinky Ring, Early-Twentieth Century

Here’s a beautiful, two-tone 14k gold pinky ring that was worn by my great-grandfather (1887-1954) followed by his son, my grandfather (1909-1998). Upon my grandfather’s death it went to my dad (1935-2001), who did not wear it, and then to me on his passing. The stone appears to be garnet. I have yet to take it to a jeweler to be assessed.
