I’ve had this necklace for over 30 years, but have never worn it as nowhere to wear it. So I display it in a shadow box with some of my other favorite pieces. I’ve since run out of shadow boxes and need to find more so can do some re-arranging.
After photographing, realized I neglected to take a picture of the clasp. It isn’t anything special, just a hook so am presuming mid-1950’s sometime. It is gold-toned and hangs down about 17”. There is a hallmark on the back of the main medallion, but can’t decipher it, even after getting my polishing cloth to it. So included several photos in the event any of y’all can decipher some of it!
I listed this under Art Deco Costume Jewelry, but I’m not sure that is really correct. What are y’all’s opinion on style? I’m clueless.
