Thanks Mary for the super compliment, I thought this was a nicely thought out Maltese Cross, it was a popular Emmons design but I found a rare one, the thin navette "swords" are usually all green, but mine alternate with the bold orange color, so it was nice to find an offbeat one
Thomas thank you for the wonderful compliment I am so glad you liked this, it is usually a favorite style with guys as I think it is quite historical dating back to the time of the knights
Thank you Karen for the fab keen compliment, yes this is quite a busy piece as it has the superfluous renaissance or baroque type look, back in the 60s companies like Florenza would compete for how ostentatious their Maltese crosses could be, & I found this appealing because you don't see many of these posted and of course I like something different
Thank you Daisy for the kind love and support it is always greatly appreciated
Thanks Ken for the super compliment and love, I was thinking of you when I posted this as I remember you like Maltese crosses. Have another different type one also by Emmons that I think you'll like, gotta find it first we moved again (!)
Thank you lisa & Daisy for the love, glad you enjoyed this Maltese Cross
Thanks Malkey & jb for the love of this Maltese cross, so pleased that you liked it
Many thanks Sean for the love I am always most grateful
I own and run the largest Facebook group related to Sarah Coventry and Emmons jewelry (sister companies) and can identify that pin for you as REGAL SPLENDOR from 1970. But, the green long navette stones should also be orange. I have this identical pin with the odd stones and wonder if I bought it from you?
Thanks Huffstutler for your kind comment & info about this brooch, I've updated the description accordingly. No I'm not a seller and still have this odd navette brooch, I thought it was cool they did them in contrasting colors must have been a small issue
Many thanks for the love all
