Found these two mid century modern glass ashtrays. Started collecting ashtrays for a while even though I don’t smoke. LOL.

Ashtrays are cool. One of the things I regret is not getting a glass ashtray used by my deceased relatives from their estates. It was something they used all the time and would always remind me of them. I remember buying a couple of milk glass ashtrays at a swap meet and it generated a little discussion among the folks who had the booth about them being their mother's ashtrays and how they reminded them of her. I later wondered if they would regret having sold them. I once visited an aunt who lived across the country from my and every morning she would use this little #5 cast iron skillet to make us breakfast. I told her that it was something I wanted when she passed and she thought I was insane as it would be very heavy to ship. She wouldn't put it in her letter of intent for me but she left me works of art worth thousands of dollars and $20K in cash. I use a #5 cast iron skillet a lot and if I had her's I would have thought of her every time I used it. Now I think about the fact that the one I am using is not hers, so I guess it worked out in the end!
