      My first toy train...Christmas 1949. Older bro got a Lionel electric, I got a windup just like this..big key..he still has his..mine was lost in a move somewhere
      in the dim past. Great item! Remember the little "ting ting ting ting of the bell as it went around its circular track. I was in hog heaven!

      Love your train setup and the pix. I have a set of these myself and I have a strong desire to pull them out of storage just so I can look at them now that I have seen yours. I also appreciate your pix of the restorations you have done. Very nice.

      John, I would love to do that , but I am almost overwhelmed with what I have pulled out from storage so far. I am trying to record items from my collection and until I have the opportunity to reach my trains, I will be happy to view your posts. Yours in Marx appreciation!
