My latest arrival - a cheap find on eBay AU. This is a really cute & unusual little basket in one of my favourite (& hard to find) colour schemes - pink & green.
It measures around 15 cm tall, 10.5 cm across the flat, turned over top rim, & 6 cm across the base, which has a rough, snapped pontil mark. Made from three layers of cased glass - clear over swirling green spatter/stripes, with a pink interior, it has a clear applied thorn handle.
For a small basket, it has character & style far beyond it's diminutive size. In every way, it's quirky & distinctive.
    Bohemian origin.
sklo42 & cornhusker have both previously posted baskets with a similar pink & green striped decor, attributed to Welz.

Just adding links to the pink & green items posted by sklo42 & cornhusker, whose basket is virtually identical to mine -

Also noted that the stripe on my basket is more of a dark, bluish green than the yellowish olive green of sklo42 & cornhusker's baskets. Mine also turns to spatter on the base, & does not contain any aventurine that I can detect.

This is an unusual one and very appealing. Your shape comparison with Cornhusker's example is certainly convincing, but the decors are quite different - as you have noted in additional comments. Amazing the way the handle attaches to the wide flared rim. Great example.

      Many thanks, Wow22!
Yes, this really caught my attention during a lengthy trawl of glass listings on eBay. The colour combo is one I like a lot, & the shape seemed somehow familiar. I had a look through my favourites on CW, & was reminded of where I'd seen it previously...& immediately pounced on this example. Appealing in every way, especially the price! And I agree, the handle is oddball to say the least...

Thanks so much, Ms.CrystalShip! Yes, it was fortunate that those dwarf snapdragons were still flowering so I could take advantage of the colour combo!
