    (1778 items)

Not only do I not know what they really are (lilies of some variety?) they aren't even in my own yard -- just a little patch (there's two, this is only one) in one of my friendly neighbors' yards down around the corner, where I've noticed 'em in all their brilliant red glory in the last few days, and finally caught a moment of sorta sunshine to pull to the curb and invade his driveway to grab the pics this afternoon.

I'm sure he won't mind...the next time he's outside when I drive by I'll be sure to pause and thank him. (after the fact or not)

Beautiful flowers, I think they attract hummingbirds

I have a patch of these...I thinned mine last year because they had gotten so crowded as they multiplied. The bulbs are the size of tennis balls or larger.
      They are amaryllis plants.

Perhaps I am Covid-confused, but is this Collector's Weekly or Facebook?

      Collectors’ Weekly.

Sorry if I confused you Sharminf, just trying to share a little accidental joy (in the form of random pics of flowers or pets or whatever) that have otherwise brought a little joy into my own life recently. I don't think I'm alone, and TRUST ME, there's plenty more pics of more of my more typical junk to come... ;-) :-) :-)

Thanks SO VERY KINDLY to Vynil33rpm, officialfuel, Newfld, Watchsearcher, aura, poticheman, scottvez, fortapache, vetraio50, Broochman, & MALKEY for otherwise stopping by and hitting your <love it> buttons for this pretty little buncha somebody else's flowers.

Made/makes me happy to simply be able to see them (+ to get the pics to share) and can't we ALL really still use a little extra dose of free 'lovely' in our own lives right now...??? :-) :-) :-) <with virtual hugs to y'all too>

I certainly appreciated the joy of seeing this lovely vibrant bed of flowers that I’m not responsible for weeding!!
Keep your camera ready in case you come across more beautiful sights .... with “stay at home” policies right now, it’s nice to get to see other’s uplifting, cheerful flowers!

      /me <smiling> @ Watchsearcher -- WILL DO! ;-) ;-) :-) :-) :-)

I think these are Hippeastrums of some sort. Great display & just how are these not a collection? It's a collection of bulbs in the ground that create a collection of flowers for all to enjoy. Gardening itself is a process of collecting. And who needs Facebook anyway when you've got a far more positive (by & large) place to hang out here on CW...just saying... :-)

/me reaching out to IronLace with another big virtual <hug>. THANKS and WELL SAID, my (also virtual) friend on the opposite side of the planet!
      :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Myself, frankly, can barely keep a simple houseplant alive...all these various 'flower pics' I've been sharing lately are for the most part ones that just do their own thing every yr about this time all by themselves. :-) ;-) :-)
