Here is a 4"H cobalt blue glass kicking colt, originally designed by Thomas Heisey in the early 1940s, their item #1527. Reissued by Imperial Glass in 1980, this color named ultra blue, they were a set of three horse poses, one of the others the previously posted balking colt in pale blue from 1979 shown in photo
Nice piece and great size, Jenni!
Love this fine horse and almost seems a piece best to view all around, I love it !~
Ultra blue - very nice!
Haha- he looks like he's kinda weightlifting, to exercise his upper body maybe? Are they shoulder lifts he's doing? But I love the colour of both of them!
Aww what the cutest pair of ponies.
I absolutely love this ultra blue, what a colour!
Really appreciate the kind love all

Thanks for the super compliment Kevin, these small horses from Imperial & Heisey are really cute, I love both of their shades of blue
Phil thank you for the fabulous praise, yes these horses seem to look good at all angles and are very creatively designed I think
Thanks Hoot for the really nice compliment, I too love this ultra blue cobalt too, isn't it cool how the panel connecting the legs shows a paler color
Lauren he certainly could be weightlifting putting all his weight on his shoulders to kick, sort of like a bucking bronco at a rodeo! Love those two blues myself, thank you for the wonderful praise and for giving me a much needed smile :)
Thanks Karen for the lovely compliments, I thought the two little "brothers" were a cute pair & glad you thought so too, one day soon they will be on a display shelf together. The ultra blue is ultra cool!
Thanks MrsT & Thomas for the love, glad you liked this blue horse
Thank you dlpetersen and Malkey for the kind love of this cobalt horse it is always most appreciated
