This little vase is 4.25" high with etched bird on branch and etched and signed base. The inscription appears to be "orrefors L2 62" (12 6L?). I can't really be certain about the last four characters. If I didn't know the name was "orrefors", I would probably be uncertain about that! Maybe someone who is familiar with Orrefors numbering system can clarify?! This tiny vase is very similar to other Orrefors vases of this design, though smaller than most. This vase was originally designed by Sven Palmqvist. There is a small relieved portion at the front of the vase by the numbers. It was very deliberately done. Not sure why.
I found this site that explains and lists the date codes for Orrefors glass, but I still can't firgure this out! Guessing you may have to look at a lot of Orrefors glass to get the hang of this...
