Picked up a late '50s, most likely early '60s Gilbert Chemistry Set(white box). I got a similar three panel set for my birthday in '60 that had the same litho and manual. This one is a entry level single panel with a lid. I'd like to find a nice three panel like I had but this was clean, pretty much complete and virtually unused, it was a fair price that I couldn't pass up. It's hard to find clean vintage chem sets, if it was used much some of the chemicals usually corode or damage it.

    Thanks,
    Bill

I worked as a chemist in the petroleum and nuclear industry. I had a couple of these sets as a kid growing up. I used up all the chemicals in them.
