Got this from a yard sale and a few other things, i actually knew the guy who use to live there. Seen this buddha statue stands around 4 inches made from brass or bronze im not sure. Also statue looks to be of buddha being focused from his eyes being shut an where his arms are. This is just from all i read in past day so i might not be 100% sure not sure how old either, any info will help i love to learn. thanks
Not a Buddha statue, but rather a statue of the Hindu god Shiva. His ornaments and posture are characteristic - the crescent moon in his hair, the cobra necklace and so forth.
